About Soccer Games Today
Last updated: October 31, 2026
Soccer Games Today is an independent soccer and sports website with two jobs: explain matches with data, and let fans test their own judgement against a statistical model.
Who we are
Soccer Games Today was founded and is maintained by software engineer and editor Eren Şimşir. The site combines mathematical forecasting models with plain explanations, and it carries no betting promotions or tips.
What we publish
- Match analysis and predictions for selected fixtures, with a model-based scoreline and win probabilities.
- Guides on competition formats, rules and how to read soccer statistics.
- A prediction game where you enter scores before kickoff, earn points and compare yourself with other fans on the leaderboard.
How we work
Every prediction on the site comes from the model described on our methodology page, and once enough predictions have been made we will publish how it performs, misses included. Our sourcing and correction rules are set out in the editorial policy.
